At New England Civil War Museum
Monday, April 28, 2008 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
This extensive workshop will provide those with some familiarity and novices with an understanding of how to research and write grants. The workshop will cover public and private grants – private foundations, family foundations, corporate foundations as well as government grants. Included will be a detailed discussion of where to look for information on grants, services that are available for purchase and public sources of information on government grants. By the end of the workshop every attendee will be able to write a grant application. This is an ideal workshop for anyone who is starting out as a grants writer, volunteers who are writing grants for organizations and people who want to learn a few more tips about how to successfully write grants.
